About The Lodge
Your Hosts
Jennifer and Tim, your hosts, built the main house from the ground up in 1997, creating a beautiful home in the heart of the forest. Over the years, guests, passers-by and locals have all commented on the idyllic, almost ethereal setting. Inspired by this, they began building Foxtail Lodge in November 2021.
Today, they are proud to share this special place with guests, offering a romantic retreat with a hot tub as part of a truly unique Norfolk glamping experience. Set within peaceful woodland near Thetford Forest, this private hot tub lodge is perfect for those looking to escape the everyday and enjoy a relaxing Norfolk holiday surrounded by nature. Well-behaved small dogs are very welcome.
The Lodge
The lodge is a thoughtfully designed open-plan space, featuring a kitchen and dining area, sitting room and bedroom all in one, with a separate bathroom. Light, airy and modern, the interior has been carefully styled to create a calm and comfortable environment, perfect for relaxing.
Completed in May 2022 by a team of specialist builders and carpenters, the lodge has been finished to an exceptionally high standard - making it a truly one-of-a-kind luxury hot tub lodge experience.
Guests have full access to the lodge, private hot tub, patio area, parking and surrounding woodland, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay and experience the beauty of this hidden corner of Norfolk. Whether you’re planning a romantic break or a peaceful Norfolk holiday, the space is yours to relax and explore.
We kindly ask that you do not use the side gate or electric gate to enter the main house at any time, as this is a private area and home to our small dog, Rico.
